As a classically trained New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, Stella Adler Alumna, Alisha has appeared in national TV ads, voiceover campaigns, print ads, magazines, television shows, and films. She has been nominated for numerous awards including- ‘Outstanding Actress,’ ‘Best Comedic Ensemble,’ and best of- ‘Producers Guild of America.’ Her work has played at festivals around the globe such as: New York Fringe Festival, Zimbabwe National Film Festival, Heartland Film Festival, Los Angeles Comedy Festival and more.
As a solo artist
Her first show entitled ‘The Search for Something Grand’ toured the nation and sold out houses at Improv Olympic West. Following fabulous reviews, her second solo show ‘Parenting Tips From Someone Who Didn’t Think She Would Have Kids’ had a one-year run and culminated at the Comedy Central Stage. Her third solo extravaganza ‘Step-parenting: The Last Four Letter Word’ is slated to grace the stage of Second City Hollywood in spring 2013.
As a comic
Alisha has been performing coast to coast for over a decade opening up for Drew Carey, Sarah Silverman, Maria Bamford and more. She has appeared across the nation headlining at New York Comedy Club, World Famous Comedy Store, Gotham Comedy Club and more. She has been hailed as a ‘Giggle Goddess’ by Comediva.com and ‘Beyond Brilliant’ by LA Weekly.
